The upsides to having all-we-could-eat sushi last night included a very useful writing-related conversation with
papersky, and also eating a lot of delicious raw fish, which was at least biochemically good for my mood. The downside was slipping on a patch of wet slush on the way home, mildly pulling something in the small of my back and wrenching my left ankle; I had a long hot bath and papersky rubbed it and it is much improved but still feels strained and like it might be easy to hurt again, so I am being extra-careful for a bit; taking the bus all the way from work to the metro and then the 90 back out, rather than getting off the bus and walking two blocks south on Melrose which included the largely uncleared pedestrian tunnel under the railway. seems wise. Also avoiding stairs where possible.
